Nicholas F. Radius, 90, December 16, 2003 - 45-year resident died in his Grand Island; devoted husband of the late Gertrude A. (Hooper) Radius who died in 1994; beloved father of JoAnn E. Vanderheite; brother of Betty T. Martin of East Aurora; uncle of Michael, Mark, Peter and Patrick Martin. Nick was a retired agent for the Internal Revenue Service. Born in Buffalo, he was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving stateside. He worked in the Buffalo IRS office for 30 years, retiring in the 1970s. He was a member of the American Legion and Elks Club, and was a former member of Buffalo Launch Club. He was devoted to his dog, Buster. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the KAISER FUNERAL HOME, 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island, where funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
