Evelyn M. Gilbert Obituary Evelyn M. Gilbert, 90, of Zeeland, formerly Midland, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at the Holland Hospital. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She also was an avid gardener. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Lorna (Ted) Masters of Battle Creek; three grandchildren, Sue (Dave) Vander Heide of Holland, Keith (Ellen) Masters of Battle Creek and Bev (R.J.) Riedel of Battle Creek; six great- grandchildren; her brothers, Oliver (Audrey) Sequin of Midland and Thomas (Malonie) Sequin of Three Rivers; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, George Wylie Gilbert Jr. (1990); and several brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3109 Swede Ave. at Ashman. The Rev. Father Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate, with graveside burial rites in Old Calvary Cemetery. Evelyn\'s family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Obituary for Lorna Masters December 30, 1941 - February 06, 2009 Mrs. Ted (Lorna) Masters, age 67, of Battle Creek, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 6, 2009 at her home. Lorna was a member of Family Altar Chapel and a former member of Central Wesleyan Church in Holland serving in woman\\\'s ministries. Lorna and her husband owned and operated M-140 Auto Parts in South Haven. They served as missionaries in South Dakota, Haiti, and Brazil. Her passion was to serve the Lord, family and friends as well as having the gift of hospitality. She is sadly missed. She is survived by her husband Ted of 44 years and children: Beverly and R.J.
