Tearce, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. She was born in North Tonawanda, New York on August 31, 1931, a daughter of the late Kazmer and Stephania [Urbaniak] Miszczak. Mrs. Tearce and her husband owned and operated the Riverside Inn in Lewiston during the 1960's. She later became the bookkeeper at Davis & Brothman Orthopedics in Kenmore, NY, for over 30 years, before retiring. Mrs. Tearce enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, boating and listening to music. She was the wife of the late John J. "Jack" Tearce, who died in 1982. Mrs. Tearce is survived by a son, David J. (Diane) Tearce of North Tonawanda, NY, three daughters, Karen M. Tearce of the Town of Wheatfield, Jacqueline F. (Paul) Witkowski and Stephanie M. Aronica both of Nashville, TN, three grandchildren, Tonya (Patrick) McNulty, John (Kailey) Wood, Adam Vanderheite, four great grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Natalie, Lauren, two sisters, Victoria (late Witold) Sosnowski and Dorothy ( late Vincent) Doherty, four nieces Sandra (Gerald) LaFontain, Janet (Kenneth) Beck, Diane (Dennis) Mitchell, Linda (James) Pratt. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tearce was the sister of the late Albin Miszczak, Edwina (late Stephen) Kruk. Private Funeral Services were held at the wishes of her family. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094. Inurnment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Tonawanda, NY.
